Upload an image your browser can decode and select JPEG, PNG, or WebP as the output. Choose quality for JPEG or WebP, then convert and inspect the result before downloading it. The example below converts a small PNG to JPEG without resizing: its dimensions stay the same while its MIME type changes. File size is determined by your image and the browser encoder, so compare the actual result.
GIF and BMP are accepted inputs, not output choices. Conversion through a canvas does not preserve animation, and JPEG cannot preserve transparency. Browser support determines whether WebP encoding is available. Each input file is limited to 100MB. Keep a source copy when you need metadata or editable layers because the downloaded output is a newly encoded raster image rather than the original file.

The converter exports JPEG, PNG, and browser-supported WebP. GIF and BMP are accepted inputs when the browser can decode them, but are not export options. Canvas conversion creates a new raster image and does not preserve animation or all original metadata. Inspect transparency when choosing JPEG because that format has no alpha channel.
Each input is limited to 100 MiB. The browser must also decode pixels and encode the result, which can require substantially more memory than the source file. Large dimensions may be impractical below the upload cap. Reduce input size or process fewer images if the device cannot complete a batch.
