Paste a single YAML document into the input panel. Try the compact mapping in the example below, choose two-space indentation and format it. The result expands the mapping into a readable block while keeping the parsed name and enabled values. Enable key sorting only when alphabetical order is useful for your project; otherwise leave the original mapping order available.
Inspect the output before copying or downloading it. The formatter parses YAML and writes it again, so comments and the original presentation are not preserved. Keep an original copy when comments explain operational decisions. For configuration files, compare the parsed values and then validate the result with the application that consumes it. Syntax acceptance alone does not prove that deployment settings are correct. The output includes a trailing newline.

Choose the indentation size and whether mapping keys should be sorted. The formatter uses a fixed line width of 120 and writes YAML from the parsed value. It does not offer arbitrary line-width presets, a comment-preserving editor or an application-specific style policy. Use your project formatter when exact presentation conventions are required.
Read the parser error and inspect nearby indentation, quoting, brackets, and colons. Use spaces consistently, correct the source, then format again. The tool reports parsing failures rather than repairing ambiguous configurations. Duplicate keys or unsupported custom tags may fail. Render application templates before formatting, and validate application rules separately after syntax succeeds.
Parsing and dumping can change quotes, scalar spellings, comments, and alias representation. This formatter writes without references, so aliases may expand. Check date-like scalars and keep the original under version control when presentation matters. The consuming application still needs its own schema checks; YAML syntax validation does not establish Kubernetes or other application correctness.
Single-file uploads allow 100 MiB and show a warning above 10 MiB. Bulk uploads allow 50 MiB per file. Processing still uses browser memory; the upload limit does not guarantee completion. Try a smaller representative document first if a large or deeply nested configuration becomes difficult to handle.
Processing runs in your browser. Choosing Share uploads the selected tool state; anyone with the link can open it. Signing in to save sends content to your account library and records save history. Review the selection before either action. Closing the page does not delete those copies. Copying locally does not create a server share.
